Although I live in an section that experiences many separate seasons, the Winter weather easily lasts the longest… It starts to cool off plus forces us to close the windows by the end of August, and both of us properly need to start up the heating system sometime in August plus expect snowfall by Halloween, for at least many weeks, we rely on the heating system.
It’s so exciting when the snow finally melts plus the outside temperature rises above chilly.
I look forward to eventually opening the windows, breathing fresh air plus spending time outdoors. I am legitimately relieved when I am no longer paying huge energy bills, but although we face temperatures in the upper eighties plus high humidity during the summer, it doesn’t last long! Within a few weeks, we’re back to chilly weather again. I don’t know central a/c is necessary. In our opinion, it’s too big of an investment for what we would get from it. I spent a lot less money on window a/cs for the bedrooms. I set a single in each of the windows plus we appreciate perfectly cool sleeping conditions… The cooling units are compact, lightweight plus fairly energy efficient; Since we only run the a/cs at night, I don’t notice a big increase in our electrical bills. I make sure to disinfect the air filters at the start of the season plus then I carry them back up to the attic in the fall. The separate a/cs allow each family member to decide their own comfort level, but plus, the a/cs are controlled by cordless remote control, so we don’t even need to get out of bed to make adjustments.
