I savor my teenagers like nothing else, as they are my whole world… But, they are all so different, which causes chaos in my property. The latest battle I was dealing with involved the smart control unit settings. One wanted it hot, the other cooler and the other cold. I heard them fighting from my office and had to leave my work to go and see what the drawback was. I had enough with the cooling unit battles in the property and decided it was time for a change. There was no way I would brave weeks of the boiling season as they fought over the control unit settings. I had been reading about AC zoning and how it could work in our place. They all had their rooms which would be fitted with mini-control units. Each child can set the ideal temperature and leave the usual areas to choose. I actually had been speaking with a local Heating and A/C pro about this and finally confirmed their work after breaking up the fight. The only real drawback is that they were backed up with cooling equipment servicing and repairs. I had to wait until they sent someone over to my house, however as the people I was with and I waited, I set some rules for everyone to make sure there were no more battles over the control unit. If anyone wanted to adjust the settings, they had to come to me first before even attempting to touch the smart control equipment.
