For almost a month, I had not felt okay, however it did not feel like anything serious, so I took some self-prescribed medication & continued laboring at the home services company where I was an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C tech. I felt a bit faint on a Monday, however since it was the last call of the afternoon after a furnace replacement, I decided to push myself harder. The homeowner had been vague on the iPhone because, besides her home address, she said she needed heating maintenance, & then the call removed. I went there prepared for all the heating repairs, just in case. When I got there, she told me that the heat pump always switched itself off, then given that she had one of the best heating devices in the heating industry, I knew something was wrong. The replacement at her home seemed fine, however after a thorough inspection, I discovered that the digital temperature control was the problem. It prompted the component to shut down even after the owner manually switched it on. I also found a leak in the HVAC duct, then luckily, I had geared up for duct sealing. As I was going up the ladder, I started feeling dizzy. The last thing I remember was the lady calling someone, saying that an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C tech had fallen off the ladder & was not waking up, & then everything went black again. I woke up two hours later in a hospital, however over the years, I worked as an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C serviceman, having worked on every type of heating technology; this was a first. The healthcare worker said I was particularly dehydrated & anemic.
