My best friend stopped by to visit last week, and he started sneezing. He didn’t know I had bought a cat, and I didn’t think I had to tell anyone. I had always liked cats. He asked me what happened to my fear of cats and how I thought they were evil. I told him I changed, and needed something to love me. He kissed my cheek and said he had always loved me. He walked into the kitchen, and told me it was no wonder I had so much cat hair and dander in the house. He was surprised I didn’t have cat smell in the house. The cat was sitting right on top of the window air conditioner, and his tail was waving in front of the fan vents. I told Marcus he always sat on the air conditioning unit. Whatever room I was in, Marcus was on that air conditioner. He told me not to expect him to come over very often. I knew how allergic he was to cats. His eyes were already swelling. When I told Marcus I had the HVAC technician come over to measure up for central HVAC, he smiled. I also have an air purification system installed, and it should all be done in about a week. Marcus laughed and asked if I was planning on getting a roommate, and I told he would be my only consideration. He kissed me again and told me to get rid of the cat. He now lives with my mom.
