Squirrels try to get into the attic in winter time because of the heat

Now instead of hearing constant noise outside from cars & people, I hear the sound of nature… You can hear parakeets chirping & sick & crickets singing.

Living in the rural countryside can have its ups & downs over the years. On the one hand I cherish being away from all the noise that you experience living in the city. It can be really daunting in a neighborhood household listening to the noise on the street below. There’s a combination of cars going by, sirens on police cruisers & ambulances, & people talking loudly or shouting. Periodically I’ll hear pets barking as well. I was eager to get out of this kind of environment as quickly as I could. I finished university & I started looking for tasks & cities far away from this metropolitan nightmare. Now I’m living in a duplex in a neighborhood that is right on the edge of a nature preserve. Now instead of hearing constant noise outside from cars & people, I hear the sound of nature… You can hear parakeets chirping & sick & crickets singing. I also cherish to hear the frogs when it starts to rain, and but the only thing I don’t like about living in this part are all the squirrels I get into my attic in the winter. Because it’s so frosty outside, they want to feel the heat from my boiler as it rises to the attic space. The squirrels are just trying to stay moderate from the frosty temperatures so they go wherever they can find indoor heat from a boiler or a boiler. no I don’t have heat access in the attic, but all the heat from the household makes the attic a lot warmer than the outside air.
