Harvest time

September is here and that means that Summer is almost over.

It is time to begin thinking of all the chores that come with the season. One of my favorite things is harvesting the garden and going plum, plum, and peach picking. I pride myself on canning fresh fruits and vegetables for the winter time and although it is a lot of work, my family regularly enjoys the taste of the cabin made items. There is nothing better than sauce made from scratch on a cold winter time night. If you have ever canned, you know that you have a pot of hot water on the stove all morning long. I am legitimately thankful that my good friend and I installed our central a/c a few years back. Prior to that, I suppose I would sweat out two pounds at least each season because my home felt like a steam room each year. Now, I can relax in the cool dry air while cutting, peeling, and jarring, Fall also reminds me that it is time for my annual Heating and Air Conditioning repair appointment, but when my good friend and I installed the system my good friend and I signed a repair agreement. This allows us to have the system completely tuned up for a set fee. Our serviceman is good and he regularly makes sure that the filters are replaced and there are no leaks in the system, your cabin Heating and Air Conditioning system is a lavish investment. You need to make sure to care for it just as you do your automobile. Most people take their cars to the shop on a yearly basis to have them tuned up so you need to do the same with your Heating and Air Conditioning system. Our serviceman is good and somehow regularly shows up on a morning when he can take cabin the added treat of a fresh jar of sauce or homemade jam or jelly.
