I awoke Monday morning ready to head back to the office after a two-week vacation. I felt rested and ready to go because I had relaxed on the beach and done nothing for the entire time I was gone. I really needed a recharge after tax season because I’m an accountant at a sizable firm downtown and my buddy and I had worked multiple hours of overtime to complete pretty much everyone’s request by the federal deadline… During my time away our part had been ravaged by several severe storm friends however my apartment survive with little to no detriment, however no one had bothered to call me to tell me that the building where our offices were located had been hit by a tornado and there were several things that were not toiling, living in the South you always run the risk of having these things happen however it was unusual for this time of year to have such severe storms. Anyway, needless to say I was shocked and surprised to see the sizable Heating, Ventilation and A/C component that normally sat on the roof standing in the parking lot in a disfigured mess, and fortunately my buddy and I don’t require the use of heat much in our part but I could not imagine how stuffy the building was going to be without any sort of ventilation system running. Thankfully it is only a two story building so I didn’t have to endure the heat that would have built up in a taller building. There were maintenance Crews on-site trying to install the new component and at least my buddy and I had the ability to open the windows to air the place out.
