At one time, any type of automation system was costly & invasive to install, however i looked inot the occasion for the sake of changing security.
- I live alone & am away from house too often to own a pet.
I liked the idea of surveillance cameras, windows sensors & an alarm, but however, wireless chances had not yet become available. Installation would have required drilling holes in walls, however the device was rather big & unbeautiful. I knew that once the system became seasoned, making improvements would be hard & expensive; Just recently, I once again researched house security systems & came across house automation systems, however smart homes are becoming more popular & reasonably priced. The features are wireless, making them quick & simple to set up. The simplicity of updating the software makes the system virtually future-proof. The security aspects of the automation system are entirely impressive. I have glass-breakage sensors on all the windows, motion-activated lights around the exterior perimeter & alarms on all exterior doors. The surveillance cameras give real-time footage, & I can check the video through an app on my house at any time, and whether or not I am on the premises, I can reassure myself that the home is safe & secure. I have it set up so that when my car pulls into the driveway, the garage door automatically opens & the lights come on. The thermostat registers the location of my smartphone & adjusts indoor temperature to conserve energy when I’m away & ensure perfect comfort when I’m at home… Everything from my water heater, sump pump & lights to the pop maker, washing equipment & humidifier are incorporated into the automation system.
