When we first moved into our house, everything was aged, but although all of the appliances were operational, I was upset to update the oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing unit and clothes dryer. I looked forward to installing new plumbing fixtures, including shower heads, faucets, toilets and vanities. Although the gas furnace and air conditioner were more extravagant jobs, I knew the investment into higher efficiency unit would help to save us money on our monthly monthly bills. The new heating and cooling systems also provided the opportunity to take fortune of zone control. Initially, there was a single control unit located in the kitchen. To adjust temperature, we needed to manually turn the dial! Every adjustment affected the entire house. There was no way to single out rooms that periodically assume moderate and sticky or too cold. The two of us were forced to pay to heat and cool empty rooms. The new plan includes control units in each room that control dampers in the HVAC duct that direct the flow of air. We’re able to customize the temperature through an app on our smartphones.
