Leaky Ductworks

I have been working on my household all summer time to get rid of things.

I have boxes full of junk that I don’t necessarily need.

I devoted one weekend of just going through those boxes and cleaning out my basement. I had things that were from when I graduated high school. One box had outdated binders filled with schoolwork. I wasn’t sure why I kept it all despite the fact that I went through it just to make sure I didn’t throw away any awards or high Springtime semesterbooks. Good thing I did go through that box because I had all of my high Springtime semesterbooks in it. I went through one year book and looked back at my outdated classmates and teams that I played on. It was strenuous to imagine that it was almost ten years ago. Time sure does fly by! As I was going through the yearbook I felt a draft coming from the ceiling. It was originating from the air duct. I got a small step ladder, climbed up and put my hand near the two air duct pieces that joined together. The chilly air was leaking from them. I immediately called my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C provider. The worker showed up and confirmed that the supply ducts were in fact leaking chilly air… He said it was smart that I called him because I would have continued to lose money from my a/c component running more than it should have. He repaired the leakage by using duct mastic. The air duct was back to normal and not losing any more chilly air.
