I was always ordering a new air filter until the guy from the local supplier who mainly delivered them told me to consider buying a washable filter that I could clean instead of replacing it to save some money… From that day, the two of us forged a friendship and exchanged contacts.
When it was clear that the indoor air conditions was not improving, I called him so that he could provide me professional advice on what I could do… Since he was well aware of my OCD tendencies by then, he commanded that I buy an media whole-house air purifier to aid the heat pump’s whole-house air purifier. He sent me attachs to different air quality systems he had chosen for me to narrow down to one. Before I was even halfway through, he called me. He provided me an opening that I had not considered before. He told me to have my ductwork inspected and possibly have duct cleaning! Luckily when I called the heating provider, he was the company assigned to the task. After thoroughly reading the entire system, he said that it needed duct sealing because some of the air ducts had leaks. He also commanded me to buy a new thermostat because after inspecting the one I had, he found that it was faulty and too old to service successfully. Again he sent me attachs to several heat and AC products websites to find one I liked and was within my budget. He also told me that the important tip that I needed in selecting one was choosing the one that uses the new innovative technology.
