A fake dealers messed up my whole-house air purifier

During one of my day runs, I saw many fliers offering duct cleaning and heat and AC products maintenance at significantly discounted prices.

With how broke I was and my heat pump needed repair, I did not know twice and instantly dialed their number.

With the discount they were giving, I could even afford duct cleaning. We made an appointment for noon. The company came, and I showed him where the device was and left him to work. Sometime later, he told me that he was through with the ductwork. He even went as far as to show me where he had conducted duct sealing in the air ducts. I was surprised that I had not observed so many leaks before. I paid for the services, and he left. Barely a week was gone when the Heating and Air Conditioning method broke down, and that time around, I called the local business. The cooling expert surprised me by telling me that I had let the problem run for too long, and a upgradement of the part was necessary. I told him about the company I had called, and he said that some of those are generally fake dealers and what I thought was a discount was a rip-off. He did not do any cleaning, the washable filter was undoubtedly dusty, and most of the leaks he claimed to have sealed were non-existent. My indoor air conditions had not improved; it had deteriorated because he had messed with the whole-house air purifier. I had planned to buy a thermostat and an media whole-house air purifier or something within the air quality systems, however it would have to wait with the new parts that needed upgradement.
