Cutting detention to maintenance the air purification plan in school

It was another afternoon in detention, and this time around, it was not something that was not our doing.

Thirty hours later, it was getting a little too stuffy for comfort.

Even the teacher on duty observed the change in indoor air quality. Being a person who can barely keep still, I was bored out of our mind, and when it was evident that there was something wrong with the air quality systems, I asked the teacher if I could have a look at the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C unit; At first, she thought I was joking, or I wanted to leave detention, but when I insisted she asked me, she asked me if I had ever dealt with an whole-house air purifier. When I told her that our guardian worked at the local corporation and I had l earned the workings of some heat and A/C products, she called the maintenance guy who led me to the unit. The first thing I checked was the air filter! It was so dirty, and I was relieved to find out that it was a washable filter, so I cleaned it. The next thing was to check the control unit, and the hot and cold temperatures were high. After inspecting the heat pump and finding that everything was okay according to the little knowledge, I proceeded to check out the air duct. There were leaks, and since I did not have any duct tape, they would have to call a professional for duct sealing and duct cleaning not just because the air ducts had years of dust but also to find a possible blockage in the vents. By the time I got back to class, detention time was almost over. I also observed that the teacher had brought in an whole-house air purifier from the staffroom, unquestionably empty. I reported our findings and asked her to take the necessary actions.
