Hiring a contractor for fence removal

We were able to afford our new home because it was in terrible condition.

Despite the ideal location and plenty of property, the house had been left abandoned for quite a few years.

We were faced with a leaking roof that caused significant water damage. The walls were stained and crumbling and the floors rotted. The windows were old, allowed in drafts and many were broken. All of the appliances were outdated and electrical wiring failed to meet code. The plumbing was corroded, the water heater worthless and we needed to replace the entire HVAC system. It took us almost five years to get the house fixed up and comfortable. When it was finally time to turn our attention to the exterior of the property, I felt slightly overwhelmed. The gardens, shrubs and trees were horribly overgrown. The house needed to be painted, and we wanted to pave the driveway. There was also an dilapidated fence circling the whole property. There were tipped over posts and rusted wire that needed to be removed. My husband and I spent several days on the project and realized we needed to call in professional help. The poison ivy, prickers, bees and vines were too much for us. I found a licensed fencing contractor who was willing to handle the removal of the old fence. He also provided us with an estimate on the installation of a new fence. My husband and I liked the idea of creating a border around the property that would provide privacy, security and curb appeal. The fencing company handled everything and did a wonderful job.
