My parents were born plus raised in the north.
I grew up there plus then moved to a warmer climate. I have gotten used to Wintertide being only a few weeks long. I used to own Summer plus Wintertide clothes. Now I just have a few sets of long pants. I own a proposal that heats, but it rarely gets used. I properly use the cooling function 90% of the year. I wear shorts plus a tank top. I lather sunblock on our face plus have totally adjusted to a warmer lifestyle. When I go to visit our parents, it is tough. Their climate is so much colder that it is a shock to the system. Typically I proposal to visit in the summertime. It feels prefer a crisp fall afternoon to me. It is warm, but not sizzling at all. I don’t want any A/C which is good since they don’t have it. One trip I made the huge mistake of visiting while in the wintertime. There was snow, ice plus a severe windchill. I didn’t have the typical clothing to deal with these extreme hot plus cold temperatures. I forze the whole trip. My parents own a heating system, but they rarely use it. It was chilly enough to use the gas furnace but they only had it set to 74 degrees! The gas fireplace barely works too. Frequently it will turn off plus neither of our parents notice. When the home is cold, they just put on coats. They are used to being cold. I bitterly complained teh whole trip plus looked forward to our warmer paradise.
