My parents were born & raised in the north.
I grew up there & then moved to a warmer weather conditions.
I have gotten used to Winter being only a few weeks long. I used to own Summer & Winter clothes. Now I just have a few sets of long pants. I own a program that heats, however it rarely gets used. I respectfully use the cooling function 90% of the year. I wear shorts & a tank top. I lather sunblock on our face & have totally adjusted to a warmer lifestyle. When I go to visit our parents, it is tough. Their weather conditions is so much colder that it is a shock to the system. Typically I method to visit in the summertime. It feels adore a crisp fall afternoon to me. It is warm, however not hot at all. I don’t want any AC which is good since they don’t have it. One trip I made the sizable mistake of going to see while in the wintertime. There was snow, ice & a dire windchill. I didn’t have the proper clothing to deal with these harsh un-even temperatures. I forze the whole trip. My parents own a oil furnace, however they rarely use it. It was frigid enough to use the oil furnace however they only had it set to 70 degrees! The gas fireplace barely works too. Frequently it will turn off & neither of our parents notice. When the cabin is freezing, they just put on coats. They are used to being cold. I bitterly complained teh whole trip & looked forward to our warmer paradise.
