I am an HVAC dealer, but someone stole all the tools that I use to work on HVAC units. I can’t recognize that someone stole all of my tools while I was working on an HVAC unit. If there is anything that I have l gained from working as an HVAC dealer, it is that you cannot trust other dealers to be alone with your tools, when HVAC dealers are installing HVAC units in a current house, they are officially working alongside other dealers. HVAC dealers might work alongside electricians, carpenters, plumbers, etc. It is quicker and more efficient for the person buying the lake current home to hire these people to work at the same time. Honestly, it is pretty cool to work with the other dealers in town, and you get to make friends that way. However, this does not mean that you should blindly trust the other dealers. In my experience, I have had more stuff stolen from other dealers than from any other group of people, and this is sad. Most of the tools that HVAC dealers use are the same tools that other dealers use, and the HVAC dealers, along with the dealers, are responsible for purchasing their own tools. Since tools are not cheap, people like to steal them. The HVAC dealers have a habit of putting their names on the tools to try to avoid getting their stuff stolen, but it does not regularly work. For instance, I left my tools alone for a few hours while I was helping the other HVAC contractor carry a furnace, and when I got back, my tools were stolen. I don’t guess who did it, despite the fact that I unquestionably must buy current tools.
