I really like the fact that I’m finally taking my health seriously. It’s like if I’m doing all I can do to be healthy, that’s really all I have to do. There is no more guilt or random worries that I’m killing myself slowly with my lifestyle. That was certainly the case prior to my lifestyle change. I went from sitting in the zone controlled HVAC comfort of my office all day to sitting in the air conditioning of my house. Getting off my butt was the very first move I had to make to try and regain my health. But since we were in the middle of the pandemic, I sort of had limited options. Going to the gym was not really a safe option. But sitting some more in the HVAC cooling all summer wasn’t the answer either. So, I started out by getting out of the air conditioning of my house each evening. Simply taking a 30 minute walk each evening totally changed the paradigm. Soon there after, I was going for longer walks and making it a couple of times a day. Then, I started to pay attention to my diet and began adding in more exercise. When the office reopened, I even started standing at my desk in the zone controlled HVAC of the office. But I also had the HVAC company come to my house to install a new addition to our HVAC equipment. We now have a whole home air purification system that gives us the best indoor air quality possible. This is also making a big difference in my overall and immune health as well.
