We just piled the boxes in the garage by the furnace for the time being, as they were taking up loads of room, however unfortunately, the furnace decided that night would be a good one to get a sock stuck within its exhaust pump, which caused a medium sized explosion, and once the furnace went up, it ignited all the wooden booze boxes that Spence had brought, creating a big fire in our garage! Thank goodness my wife is a firefighter, and quickly extinguished the furnace fire, and made sure to check all of the heating vents in our house afterwards
A large boxing match was on television that night, and my wife and I had many of our friends over to watch, since we are all big fans of the sport, and the event occurred on a weekend. Everyone had brought a different dish or drink to be shared with everyone else to our get-together, and the two of us decided to go around buffet type to try everything, and somehow the two of us ended up a few hours later with no more food, and countless bottles of booze that my good friend Spence had brought from his bar. Of course this meant that we needed to update our heater and some ducts that had been blown out really with a new one! We felt this was a big challenge until we decided to go in person to our local HVAC retail store, where we were able to talk with an HVAC company about our strange options, and pricing. Somehow insurance was able to pay for almost 98% of our new oil furnace, which our HVAC company kindly installed. So now everything is running smoothly, and our next event will not be interrupted by a random explosion.
