Ben has been our best employee for over a decade, then i’m harshly distraught to see the guy retire, but I feel that it is time, but he’s been laboring since he was fifteen years old plus the guy clearly deserves a break! Unfortunately for me, he is also the best employee that I have laboring for the HVAC service dealer, ben handles all of the commercial HVAC repairs on boilers.
He’s the only guy I have currently that can handle commercial boiler work. I knew it was going to be hard to find someone to substitute Ben, so I started looking as soon as I found out that he was going to retire. I decided to use a staffing service that specializes in technically skilled laborers. The contractor has a list of plumbers, electricians, plus HVAC workers that need work. I had a couple of candidates to interview the day after I made the request… One of the people that I interviewed was a person named Julie. I did not have any female employees before I decided to hire Julie… She stood out among all others that I interviewed. She has a military background plus a ton of experience with commercial heating plus air conditioners, including compact boilers. She was the perfect candidate for the job. She wanted a bit more money than I was willing to pay, however both of us found a location to meet in the middle after I interviewed her for the job. I feel she is going to fit in wonderful on our team. I cannot wait to see what she can do.
