It’s never been calibrated and it is so far off that sporadically it turns on the heat in the middle of a boiling day
I have this ancient dial thermostat and it’s time to change it with a smart thermostat because it isn’t reliable. My uncle set it up back in the 75 and it has served me ever since. But, it’s time to switch things up and get a better Wi-Fi smart thermostat. I’m going to go to the large company’s store in the evening once they slow down and see if I can buy a modern unit. I don’t fancy going to the store early in the day because it gets too crowded with local companies getting their materials for the workday. It usually slows down around more than three in the afternoon once they all have bought their things and have gone to their job sites. It’s even better to go to this local business on Sunday nights about an hour before they close. The store is empty at this time of the day on the weekend. But, I must go there this week to get this thermostat because I don’t think the dial thermostat can hold on any longer. It’s never been calibrated and it is so far off that sporadically it turns on the heat in the middle of a boiling day. My central a/c is awesome, however, the thermostat isn’t as appealing. I’m going to do my yoga session now and then head off to the store to buy a smart thermostat.
