I usually don’t take too kindly to threats, but recently my wife threatened to divorce myself and others if I didn’t do something to improve the air quality in our home.
- She said how she was sad about her health & the health of the children.
I asked her why she never brought it to my attention previously, although she said it’s something that I should have known. Well, I don’t read minds & I have been seriously busy over the years with my job, so I don’t think how I’m supposed to think there is such an issue if nobody tells myself and others about it. I ended up getting on the iphone with a local HVAC supplier & asked them to please come out to repair the air quality in my home. I even added that my marriage depended on it & the HVAC expert on the iphone seemed surprised to hear that. Well, the HVAC professional who came out said the people I was with and I needed a few things to improve the air quality. He started with the air duct plan saying how it was plugged up pretty badly but a air duct cleaning & resealing should do the trick. Then the people I was with and I got to the air filter which he said wasn’t good enough. I changed the air filters correctly, however he said these air filters I was using were unquestionably low quality & didn’t protect the HVAC plan unquestionably well & actually didn’t do anything to improve the air quality in my home. He said HEPA filters would be best, even though I should just use good air filters with a MERV rating above 6. I figured that wouldn’t be an issue so I obtained a pack of good quality air filters from the HVAC professional & got the air duct cleaned.
