We were looking forward to getting away from the cold weather for a bit and enjoy some more milder weather. When we got there the temperature was in the 50s we saw this as warm compared to the 20 degree weather that we’ve experienced all winter. We unloaded our bags and she showed us to the rooms that we would be staying in. Her apartment is older and looked like it was built in the 1950s. The apartment had central heating and cooling but there wasn’t a whole ton of air registers. The air registers were not on the floor they were on the bottom of the wall. I woke up so many times during the night and I was beginning to worry if the heat was even on. I was really cold and I went downstairs to grab an extra blanket so I could stay warm. As I was passing by the wall I saw the thermostat and took a look at the temperature it was set to. It said the thermostat was set to 63 degrees. I thought that was really chilly but I did not want to touch the thermostat, I felt like it wasn’t my place to do so. So I went and grabbed another blanket and luckily I stayed warm throughout the night. I just wish that there was heat coming out of the air registers so I could stay nice and warm throughout the night.

I was extremely excited to go there because i haven’t seen my friends new place yet.

I flew down there and the flight there was absolutely awful.

Reason being was that the weather was bad. The weather was extremely windy outside and it was chilly on the plane. When I first got on the plane I was warm and sweaty and was hoping that they would have some kind of air circulation coming from the vents above. As the flight continued on and the wind increased I started to get nervous and my body temperature increased because of the turbulence. My adrenaline started to kick in and I was feeling like I was about to have an anxiety attack. I asked the flight attendant if there was any way that they could turn down the heat. She said she would be able to but only by a few degrees. I thought that was better than nothing. That’s when I started thinking, maybe they have a heating and cooling system that’s very similar to one that’s installed in a house. It had to be similar to a heating and cooling system that’s in a house because a plane does have vents like air registers, and there has to be some sort of ductwork that’s installed above the seats. Luckily after the flight attendant turn down the air temperature I was able to cool down a little bit and enjoy the rest of my flight. Personally I don’t think there will ever be a flight where I’m comfortable throughout the entire flight because the air temperature ranges so much.

I had my soon-to-be mother and father-in-law come over to my house to our house for the first time. I have never met them before because they do live in another country and for them to travel here every few months would be very expensive. I wanted to make sure that everything was absolutely perfect. I wanted to make sure that my house was nice and clean, and that our dinner would also incorporate their culture as well. Just 20 minutes before we had to pick them up at the airport I heard a really loud noise come from the condensing unit right outside our bedroom window. The condensing unit is the air conditioning unit that cools down our house. I knew something must have major happened. I went to the thermostat to lower it so the air conditioning system would kick on. The air conditioning system would not kick on. I needed to make sure that we had cool air in our home because it was going to be so hot that week. Plus I didn’t want his parents to experience no cool air and be sweating the entire time they visited us. We were already pressed with time and had to pick his parents up at the airport. So I told him that I could stay behind so the heating and cooling technician could come and fix the air conditioning system. Luckily the heating and cooling technician was done repairing the part in the condensing unit before his parents got to our house. It ended up being a terrific week with his parents despite how hot the weather was. Luckily we had our air conditioning system running on full blast.

Just this past weekend I went shopping for summer clothes.

• Normally I would hold off on buying summer clothes because normally I can fit in all of my summer clothes but just recently I have lost 20 pounds so i cannot fit in any of my clothes especially my summer shorts.

As I was shopping I was really stressing out because I couldn’t find any clothes that really fit my figure. I was sweating a lot and then I would not sweat. Some of the department stores that I would go into would be extremely hot because of the lights that they have. I was hoping that those stores that were really hot would turn on their air conditioning system on full blast. This one department store that I went into had a very weird temperature set up. What I mean by this is that in the front of the store it would be more colder than the back of the store. I realize that this store must have zone control air-conditioning. With zone control air conditioning you can control certain parts of a business or home through different thermostats and setting those thermostats to different temperatures. It started to make sense because in the entrance it would be colder because of how hot it would be outside and towards the back of the store it would be slightly warmer because air conditioning isn’t really needed as much there. This got me thinking, maybe I could hire my local heating and cooling technician to come and give me a free estimate on how much it would be to set my heating and cooling system up to a zone control!

I am a very big customer comment person. I always love to give reviews to businesses and restaurants. I think the only way that businesses are ever going to improve is if they get insight from customers. Just the other day I was eating at a restaurant and had extremely poor service from my waitress. She never refilled our drinks and she was extremely rude when we were trying to order. It was like she was in a rush and we were wasting her time. I’m hoping that by my review that I wrote her manager will have a talk with her and maybe retrain her on positive customer service. Another review that I recently made was with my local heating and cooling technician. I’ve been with this new heating and cooling company for the past year now and every time one of their hvac technicians come to do any service or maintenance on my heating and cooling system it’s always very positive. I am very lucky to have such knowledgeable and friendly heating and cooling technicians. I can ask them any question when it comes to my heating ventilation and cooling system and they will always have an answer. The way that they respond to my question doesn’t make me feel dumb either. They really value their customers and gaining new customers so they can be the top leading hvac company in the area. This is how a lot of businesses should train their employees. And also base their company on specific business values that can help their business grow.

I have three dogs and two cats so when I’m away I do not want to put my animals in the kennel I want to have someone house sit and watch my animals. I am very particular on who I hire to house sit and who comes in my home. I have a lot of my close friends’ older teenagers that will come over and house-sit. And my pickiness on who comes over to my house stemmed from this one girl who came over. About a year ago she came to my house and she completely trashed my home. She held a party and she even broke my heating and cooling system. I am not sure how a person can break a thermostat. but there was a video going around of her pressing all sorts of buttons on my thermostat repeatedly. She was even pushing the degree up and down buttons on the thermostat at the same time. I was so irate about this because I just installed my thermostat and it was a brand new smart wi-fi thermostat. Smart wi-fi thermostats are expensive these days and it cost me a few hundred dollars. Not to mention my heating and air conditioning system was on the fritz for months. I finally had to get a heating and cooling technician to come and take a look at my system. Needless to say I gave her my heating and cooling bills to her and her parents. Eventually after a year I was finally reimbursed for the heating and cooling damages that she made.
