My body is still a bit tired from yesterday’s trip to the ambulance after my ice water dip.
- I spent too much time in the water and when I got out I couldn’t function properly and was trembling pretty badly.
So today I did the dip again but was out within 10 minutes maximum. I don’t want to put my body under that kind of stress again, it becomes counterproductive. I’m going to the surgeon tomorrow to get a price on new shoulders. After it’s done I shouldn’t have to rely so much on cold water to stop the pain. I’ve got my electric heating blanket on me right now and I’m just enjoying the feeling of being warm again. After such a cold morning yesterday it feels good to treat the body to some warmth. I have the thermostat set on 73 F today to keep my body warm. I know it is costing more money in electricity but my comfort and health are more important. I’ll turn off the furnace when I leave for the beach in an hour or so to get my sun for the day. Even though it’s winter I still like to get some natural vitamin D each day from the sun, along with my nourishing cold water swim in the sea. Nature’s elements can be healing if used in moderation. I am happy with my new heating unit and how much heat it is putting out in my living room and office. It seems to be very efficient and the rooms are both nice and warm now.
