That kitty became a permanent resident in my dwelling, and his bizarre love for the heating component never did go away
I have rescued and owned quite a few cats in my life. I actually was under the impression that I had seen it all, however every now and then, I end up getting a pet that easily surprises me. My latest surprise was a black longhaired cat that visited me while on a Winter day. The cat seemed to be seeking shelter, and the cat strode right into my condo as if it already belonged in the place… I didn’t mind my up-to-date guest, however this cat ended up proving how bizarre cats can be. The cat disappeared for a little while, and I started to feel concerned. I looked around and found the cat stretched out on my oil furnace system. I soon found out this cat was totally obsessed with my heater… Whenever the cat would be missing in my dwelling, all I would have to do is check my oil furnace system and that cat would be there. Fortunately for him, the heating appliance was almost constantly on. The few times the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C component wasn’t working, all I would have to do is turn on the oil furnace and he would come running. That kitty became a permanent resident in my dwelling, and his bizarre love for the heating component never did go away. I can only believe that after surviving in the nippy Winter weather, he never wanted to experience that weather again. After finding a reliable source of heat, he never wanted to leave. This was perfectly okay with me, as I enjoyed cats a bunch, and I was constantly looking for up-to-date critters to take care of.
