It wasn’t just because of the kids, but I actually realized after a weekend with the kids, that I wasn’t ready for a family
I met my bestie fall in line a couple of weeks ago. When all of us met, I did not know that she had kids. It was a pressing surprise and something that I wasn’t expecting. The first time I met her kids, all of us decided to get a hotel room and go to the amusement park. I thought it would be a enjoyable way for us to meet without there being any stress. I got a hotel room for my bestie and the kids and a second one for me. Every one of us were on the same floor, however our rooms were on opposite ends of the hall. I did that on purpose, so my bestie would suppose any pressure at all. I got to the hotel first and my bestie arrived with her kids about an minute later. I was waiting in the lobby when they arrived. As soon as they walked inside, the kids started complaining about the indoor temperatures. The lobby did not have AC. They wanted to go upstairs to the room where the AC was running and they had Wi-Fi. I paid a lot of money for the hotel rooms and the theme park tickets and the kids’ biggest problem was the and video games. I wasn’t impressed with the kids or their behavior. Not many of weeks after my bestie and I had our weekend at the park, all of us broke up. It wasn’t just because of the kids, but I actually realized after a weekend with the kids, that I wasn’t ready for a family. I was still trying to find my way. I wasn’t ready to be a step father.
