Today was a day of realization and it has left me feeling just awful, then it occurred to me that I have not been replacing my air filter as frequently as I should have. It’s really no surprise that I’ve been living with such awful indoor air quality. I can’t help however divulge that I’ve never been one to deliver my heating and cooling system the care and attention it deserves. I can assume of only one time when I was upset about the upkeep of my heating and cooling system and that was to ensure that I could love the high quality indoor comfort; Outside of that, I ignore it and have only called when I need repairs when something goes wrong. I’m sure some people take excellent care of their Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system, however I’m not one of them, but my air conditioning unit broke down a few months ago, so I called the local heating and cooling business to come and repair it as usual; When the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional arrived, she looked at me and said, “oh no, not again.” Those words right there made me feel even worse; She did her job to repair my air conditioning and said that I just need to be on top of the air filters and she showed me how to upgrade them. It wasn’t the first time she has shown me this and I’m sure she knew that however she still took the time to do so. I assume I can care about that this Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional still cares enough to show me how to upgrade the air filters. If I were him, I would’ve given up by now.
