Because of a really bad storm that we had a couple of weeks ago, there are some problems with our HVAC system at church.
I don’t really know what happened to it, but I do know that we lost power for a while.
During the storm, the power went out and there was a power surge at the church. I think that the power surge actually ran into the heating system and caused some damage. Now, the heating system isn’t working correctly anymore. We really need to get it fixed because the weather is not heating up at all yet. Even though it’s almost Easter and the temperature should be heating up by now, we are having a drastically long winter this year for some reason. I wish that the temperature would warm up, but we still have piles of snow out in the backyard at my house! I wish that we didn’t have to get the furnace fixed anytime soon. I mean, it would be nice if we could let the furnace sit there for the spring and summer and then get it fixed next fall whenever we have a little bit more money to do repairs with. However, since the weather is still so cold and it’s already almost April, we really need to go ahead and get the furnace fixed. I guess we are going to have to call the commercial HVAC company that we use so that we can get everything squared away sooner rather than later. It’s probably best if we don’t leave the furnace sitting there all summer anyway.
