I still have an air conditioner at my house, but I am technically living off the grid. Furthermore, I decided many years ago that the world was going down the tubes and that I was going to move away where there were not a lot of people. Likewise, I have never regretted my decision, either. Furthermore, I genuinely like living out here in the woods on my own. I am glad that I own a lot of acreage out here where I can hunt and fish whenever I feel like it and I do not ever have to worry about anyone else. The only thing that I was genuinely distraught about whenever I moved out here at the beginning was the fact that I was going to have to supply up my heating and cooling system in my home. I had genuinely good indoor air quality in my condo where I used to live, and I was not genuinely ready to supply up my air conditioner. I am okay with heating with a wood stove or my wood burning fireplace out here in the middle of nowhere, however there is no way that I could have an air conditioner. For me, having a good air conditioner is so pressing that I nearly didn’t make the move! They told me that there is a way to run a window unit air conditioner off of a generator hookup. That made up my mind! Now, I am off the grid, however I still have an air conditioner during the warm Summer weather and life is good.
