But, I could see the resistance in his eyes when I said I wanted to transfer out.
As a young lady actually working, I wanted to start dating. Can you imagine bringing a boy over to my father’s dwelling each time I wanted him to come by? That wasn’t going to work, so I searched for a rental locale behind my father’s back. A neighbor helped me, plus the two of us came across this rental locale not far from where I was working. It was kind of old, plus to make matters worse, the a/c looked even worse. But, it was the only thing within my price range. From there, I could walk to work since I didn’t have an automobile yet. I spoke to the owner about replacing the aged a/c since it was bad news. It’s not possible to live through summer time in our town without excellent air conditioning. But, the owner had bad news, he said the a/c still had a few years in it, so he wouldn’t change it. Instead of arguing, I chose to rent the locale plus find another way to keep the space cool. We went to town plus came upon a Heating plus Air Conditioning shop. After speaking to the owner about my predicament, he advised me to get a mini-split AC appliance with zoning. That way, I didn’t have to use the aged a/c in my new locale. I’d take my ductless cooling appliance with me if I ever transfer out.
