I still have air conditioning at my house, even though I am technically living off the grid. Furthermore, I decided several years ago that the world was going down the tubes, plus that I was going to transfer away where there were not a lot of people. Likewise, I have never regretted my decision, either. Not only that, but I really like living out here in the woods on my own plus I’m thrilled that I own a lot of acreage out here where I can hunt plus fish whenever I feel like it plus I do not ever have to worry about anyone else. The only thing that I was really anxious about whenever I moved out here at the beginning was the fact that I was going to have to supply up my heating and cooling system in my home. I had really great indoor air quality in my cabin where I used to, live and I was not really ready to supply up my air conditioning. I am okay with heating with a wood stove or my wood burning fireplace out here in the middle of nowhere, however there is no way that I could have an air conditioning. For me, having a great air conditioning is so crucial that I nearly didn’t make the move! I talked to some friends of mine who worked at one of the heating and A/C companies in one of the towns, plus they told me that there is a way to run a window machine air conditioning off of a generator hookup. That made up my mind! Now, I am off the grid, but I still have air conditioning while in the moderate summer weather, plus life is good.
