I was kneeling outside a cabin last week, getting ready to go to another customer, when my maintenance van refused to start.
- It was cold outside, and I couldn’t lay there without the Heating plus Air Conditioning running, however I had nothing.
I used my cellphone and called the Heating plus Air Conditioning corporation. I told them I didn’t know if it was the starter or the battery, however I was stuck in a driveway, and unable to get to the next Heating plus Air Conditioning customer. The dispatcher said he would send someone else to the customer, however I would need to wait with the maintenance van. She was going to call someone to come out and look at it. I sat there for almost an hour, and was shivering. The Heating plus Air Conditioning purchaser whose driveway I was kneeling in, came out with a hot cup of coffee. I apologized for taking up his driveway. She said he thought I was having problems with the maintenance van, and gave to let me come inside. I texted the Heating plus Air Conditioning supplier and asked if it was okay? The dispatcher gave to call me when the mechanic was on the way. Luckily my pal and I had an in-cabin mechanic, and he was only twenty minutes away. It was nearly an hour before the mechanic showed up, and I was enjoying talking to my buyers. They asked me to bring my partner over some time when the weather got warmer. I felt like I was leaving the home of friends, and not just Heating plus Air Conditioning buyers. For the first time in my career, I realized how pressing my buyers were and I knew I needed to get to know them better as people and not just buyers.
