It heated my condo well and wasn’t as noisy as I thought it would be
I did not expect to be away that long, but my supplier trip had me gone from my condo for over nine months. I was coming back close to winter time and I wasn’t sure if everything worked well. My furnace was pretty outdated and I needed a Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman to examine it before the cold finally set in fully. I suspected everything was wrong with the heating unit, and it wouldn’t surprise me if the best recommendation was to update it. The Heating and Air Conditioning supplier I worked with for all of the furnace service and repairs was consistently helpful. They sent me a furnace upgrade and furnace expert and the Heating and Air Conditioning expert began by checking for obvious problems, considering that I had skipped the annual routine service that guaranteed efficiency. All the filters were obstructed and would cause airflow resistance and this would mean that my furnace would overwork and even detriment the limit switch that regulated the furnace fans. She changed the filters immediately and surprisingly, there was no significant wear and tear that would affect the heater’s efficiency. The ignition/ pilot controls surprised me the most as it was intact. The thermostat needed a bit of decreasing, however other than that it was perfectly okay. I was assured that the thermostat would get me the comfort levels I needed with official temperature settings. The Heating and Air Conditioning professionals then diagnosed the heating component to verify the surface checks. Except for the initial burning smell, the furnace seemed to toil perfectly. It heated my condo well and wasn’t as noisy as I thought it would be. Whether this was a sheer miracle or an indicator that I had one of the best heating units still remains a mystery to me. The furnace served me for three or so more years without any hitches, until I chose to update to a newer and more efficient version.
