Ready for a home with new HVAC equipment

I’m not exactly thrilled with my situation at the moment.

And that has everything to do with really bad planning.

So I’m also really not to thrilled with my husband either. When he first wanted to upgrade the residential HVAC, put on a new deck and replace the carpet, I was resistant. I knew that he wanted to do all of this in order to sell our family home. And I just didn’t think I wanted to sell that house yet. Sure, it was just he and I inside the central air conditioning of what felt like a cavernous house. Well, it was sort of a cavernous house because it was big enough to house us and five kids not all that long ago. I guess that was what was also so tough. It seemed like we were just buying that house and putting in the latest in residential HVAC. Now, the kids are all gone with only one just now finishing up graduate school. I mean, my husband was right, we did need to upgrade the heating and cooling equipment and do all that other stuff to get the house on the market. And when I finally agreed to let go of the house, he told me that I wouldn’t have to worry about anything and that he’d take care of all the details. Well, it’s no just about time for us to slide into a Summer that comes with four months of grueling heat. And yet, we are still inside a horribly furnished two bedroom apartment with ancient HVAC equipment. It’s not even the first of June and I’ve had to call the rental office twice because I came home from work to no air conditioning. And we are still no further along to closing on anything resembling what I was hoping for.
