We looked forward to winter each year as kis.My siblings and I would start planning on the unusual things we would build.
For some reason all that mattered was the fact that we would skat in the snow and also play for a few minutes whenever our parents allowed.
My mom was recognizably not a fan of the ol weather. She said it was his worst season since he had to deal with a lot of emergencies as a dentist. Besides that he was typically worried that one of his guys would fall ill, which was correct when we were toddlers. Back then our part wasn’t so cold so he would allow us to play outdoors. Unfortunately, over the years the temperature seems to have changed largely. The weather gets too cold nowadays and we experience blizzards more frequently. Temperatures drop much more than they were and it feels like being outdoors Now that I am a parent my kids joke that I have become too ancient to have fun. They sometimes pull me into the snow to play a few games with them but I can only rest not more than 15 minutes in the cold. I prefer the indoors where it is overheated and convenient. I recently updated our heater and installed a new heating component after the Heating as well as A/C tech advised it. The ancient one that came with my parents house was failing so my spouse and I decided to buy a new one after paying high bills for three months straight. While winter is not my number one season yet, I can tolerate it some more thanks to the best heater I’ve ever used.
