People were using personal air coolers at the Farmers market

I started going to our city’s farmers market when I was in middle school.

I had a associate who worked at one of the booths so I liked to make an excuse out of going on Saturday days.

That way I could hang out with my associate plus still get a few things for my parents. Back after that I would buy a lot of the fresh honey products from the beekeepers table. My parents were pressing fans of the honey plus even the honeycomb. Sporadically you would get raw unfiltered honey too. I also would buy coffee beans plus other delicious treats. Back then though things were pretty scaled back compared to what it is now. There were maybe 20 vendors at the time, now they’re at least 60 plus the farmers market spans two weird streets. It’s a pretty significant affair nowadays. I went the other week plus saw that people were using personal air coolers on their tables. These are those little tiny swamp coolers that are designed to mimic the look of an air conditioner while having entirely none of the functionality of an air conditioner. They basically expect people to feel that an evaporative cooler would work in high humidity, but all it’s doing is spraying this in your face. You might as well just use a humidifier with a fan blowing the humidity in your face. That’s the most you are going to get out of a personal air cooler. they’re scammy products that are meant to take luck of people who don’t understand the difference between an air conditioner plus an air cooler. They’re two completely weird machines altogether.
