Swapping a stove plus changing the air duct

I grew up in a large family where my buddy and I constantly cooked! My Dad would do the main cooking plus my buddy and I would help with the ingredients… Whether it be splitting the vegetables for a stew or putting herbs in, my Dad constantly liked when my buddy and I helped her; She thought it was substantial that my buddy and I know how to cook. When it came to my dad cooking, she would mostly do the grilling. My Dad would call him the master griller since she made the perfect marinates for meats plus grilled vegetables. I carried my family’s cooking traditions to my own family various years later. I use my kitchen at least two times every day. I like to make breakfast plus breakfast for my family. I consistently use my oven every day plus since it was much older I figured that it would cut down eventually. It ended up splitting down on me last weekso I had to purchase a modern oven. My wife is pretty handy plus she knows how much I cook so she decided to install a hood above my stove; However she needed to change out the air duct. She had to unfasten the seasoned stove, plus the metal duct pipes below the countertop. My wife said that she didn’t want to use the seasoned air duct for the modern stove, but therefore there would be some holes in the wall from the seasoned piping, she was unsure how to cover the holes. My buddy and I called my sister in law who is an Heating plus A/C company for some assistance since she works with air duct all of the time.
