When it comes to saving money I am the queen of it, i make sure that I buy things on sale plus get rid of items that I do not need anymore.
I have a honestly strict budget because I’m trying to pay off my student loans as fast as I can, then sometimes I will go to thrift stores to find gently used items that are name brand plus are in nice condition.
I also sell some of my gently used items on a shopping app that I have. I have made some great money with this app, about every month I make around two hundred dollars. It’s not a lot although I can put that money towards my student loans. I recently just moved to a single room apartment. I have to pay my energy costs plus heating plus cooling. Therefore every time I leave a room I make sure to shut the lights off. I even have set my programmable temperature control to 67 degrees in the winter time. The lower that I have it on the less that my heating system will kick on; During the summer time I will set the programmable temperature control to 75 degrees so that my air conditioner unit doesn’t turn on as much as well. Setting my temperature controls low plus high to the respectable temperature outside has allowed me to save at least seventy-five dollars a month. That money has allowed me to also put it towards my student loans. I even get a maintenance plan each month so my Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system is in tip top shape.
