Just the other afternoon I had a entirely awkward situation with my Heating, Ventilation, & A/C worker… I had to call him because my air conditioner was not kicking on at all.
I waited about two afternoons & I tried between those two afternoons to turn on my air conditioner, then after those two afternoons there was still nothing that was working, and so I figured that I should just call a licensed Heating, Ventilation, & A/C professional to have him come out & do an estimate.
I wanted & estimate to see how much it would cost for my air conditioner to be repaired. I never like to repair my air conditioner because I have no knowledge on the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C industry at all. I had him come out & he did a estimate for me. I made sure to have him write the estimate in writing because the last time that I had an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C worker from another Heating, Ventilation, & A/C provider come out I did not have my estimate in writing, but the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C worker told me one thing verbally & then the next afternoon, he came & told me a higher price for it to be fixed. I had no way of proving to him that the lower price that he told me was really true. Therefore I had to cancel the repair instantaneously because I felt like he was trying to get more currency out of me. That is why I tell my friends to make sure that they get their estimates in writing; From that afternoon I always have dealers write their estimates to me in writing so I can always get the price that was provided to me the first time.
