Cold air blowing from air registers

Yesterday was easily one of the most busiest labor weeks that I have experience in starting my job last May, but this is mainly because they new year is right around the corner and my associate and I are in the process of updating all of our forms and our employee handbook to reflect our new policies and procedures for our employees to follow; My desk is right above one of the air registers and I could not know how freezing it was… I went to the control equipment and it read 69 degrees.

  • I was a little curious since our control equipment was set to 69 degrees.

I decided to let the boiler run a little bit longer to see if the office would hot up a bit, and at least two hours went by and I went back to the control unit. The control equipment still read 69 degrees after two hours. I knew something had to be wrong, although I decided to wait until one of our maintenance boys came back from dinner, however for the time being I put my coat on because the temperature was dropping in the office. That entire afternoon I had to wear my coat. I called my boss to see if he knew where the maintenance boys were despite the fact that he said that they both called out. All of this time I thought they were at dinner. I suggested that my associate and I call an Heating and A/C serviceman despite the fact that he said he did not have money to spend my savings a maintenance charge to have an Heating and A/C serviceman come to the office. I was furious and decided to leave as I could not labor in a cold office anymore.
