There was a water leak coming from my indoor unit

It’s that time of the year where I go into my basement and try to disinfect things out and donate them to the local thrift store, then i seem to always collect items throughout the winter.

It’s almost like I buy it just to buy it and then months later I’m questioning myself as to why I bought it! Mainly I do this for holiday and seasonal decorating.

I just seem to get so gleeful about items going on sale that I just overspend! During this time of year I also like to get all of my outdoor decorations and furniture from my basement and get it set up, then my storage room is where everything is located and it’s also where my heating and cooling system is installed. I saw a small pool of water coming from the heating and cooling unit. It has been truly warm outside and I’ve been using my a/c a lot lately. I know that there should hardly ever be any water around my indoor component and to make sure it was just the evaporator having some sort of condensation build up and not a severe situation, I called my local heating and cooling provider just to make sure, however within 2 hours my heating and cooling specialist, Bobby came. I showed him my indoor heating and cooling component and he checked a few of the unit’s parts. It turns out the it was the evaporator having condensation, but due to the coil being dirty it was dripping on the floor and not in the pan… He proposed that I should continue with my routine maintenance and cleaning check for my heating and cooling component to ensure that the coil runs efficient and that my buddy and I do not run into water on the floor again.
