During this pandemic, I’ve been required to labor from home. In the start, it was truly challenging for me to focus and get my labor done, but there were so several distractions around me like the living room, my teenagers, and the comfort of my bed, however by the eighth week of laboring from home, I was struggling to keep up with my workload and I knew I had to do something. I decided to try and get up early, before the sunlight rose and before anyone else in the apartment woke up, however although it was strenuous to get up, I discovered that I worked well in the early days. I make myself a cup of coffee, I turn on my portable furnace and I stand at my desk. The soda gives me caffeine and the portable furnace makes my office feel extra cozy. I keep the portable furnace obstructed into the wall and all I have to do is flip the switch and it lights up, then what I cherish about my portable furnace is that it looks like a miniature fireplace. There’s fake flames and logs, which I feel makes my office even more cozy. When I first obtained the portable heater, I didn’t know how efficient it would be at heating my office. I rapidly realized that it did not take long for the small heating unit to hot up my small office. On freezing winter season days, my portable furnace is cozy and keeps me hot while I get my labor started for the afternoon.
