I can not feel of anything worse than stepping out of the shower during the winter. The brisk air hitting my wet skin almost freezes me in my steps. My household gets very chilly doing the winter as my friend and I do not have a central heater. The electric furnace warms each room hastily, however the bathroom does not get the same. I recently found an electric furnace at a yard sale and decided that it was a nice idea to have for the winter months. I purchased the furnace for $2 and it was a good investment, during the winter months before showering, I will turn the furnace on for about 30 minutes and then start my shower. It is a good feeling to step out of the shower into a warm, cozy room. Although the electric furnace is small, it is very efficient in heating the small area, but like any portable heater, you must practice caution when placing the heater. Avoid placing the electric furnace near curtains and other fabrics. Always turn the furnace off when you are not in the room. It is important to practice caution using any electrical item near water. It is legitimately nice to have the option to warm the bathroom before showering during the chilly winter months. I was very gleeful to find that electric furnace at the yard sale.
