Thankfully it is only a two story building so I did not have to endure the heat that would have built up in a taller building
I awoke Sunday afternoon ready to head back to the office after a two-week getaway. I felt rested and ready to go because I had relaxed on the beach and done nothing for the entire time I was gone. I certainly needed a recharge after tax season because I’m an accountant at a large firm downtown and we had worked numerous hours of overtime to complete almost everyone’s request by the federal deadline. During my time away our part had been ravaged by several extreme storm friends but my condo survive with little to no harm, but no one had bothered to call me to tell me that the building where our offices were located had been hit by a tornado and there were several things that were not laboring! Living in the South you always run the risk of having these things happen but it was unproper for this time of year to have such extreme storms. Anyway, needless to say I was shocked and surprised to see the large HVAC unit that normally sat on the roof standing in the parking lot in a harmd mess. Fortunately we don’t require the use of heat much in our part even though I couldn’t imagine how stuffy the building was going to be without any sort of ventilation system running. Thankfully it is only a two story building so I did not have to endure the heat that would have built up in a taller building. There were repair Crews on-site trying to install the new unit and at least we had the ability to open the windows to air the venue out.
