I am a new homeowner.
I bought a small house off of a country road. The house is very modern inside. The design of the rooms is exquisite. Unfortunately the appliances and HVAC system could use a little updating. I was going to put off updating the appliances and system but since winter is approaching I figured to just get it out of the way. I contacted my HVAC provider to see what my options were. Once he arrived he told me that I needed to replace my HVAC system. He told me that the best option was to buy the smallest HVAC system that I can. To determine the size that I would need to buy he would have to measure certain aspects of my house. He would need to find out the house size, where it’s located, the number and type of my windows, how much insulation and air leakage my home has and other lifestyle factors. My new HVAC system is smaller than my old system. This is because updated HVAC systems are smaller now and more efficient. Now it is less expensive to operate my unit. I was pleased by the work that my provider did. When he left he said in about two months to give them a call to do a periodic maintenance check. I agreed and set up another appointment with him in the next two months. He insisted that periodical checks are recommended highly. This is to provide future issues with my system. Contact an HVAC provider today to see what needs to be repaired or replaced.
