I prefer being inside when there are colder hot and cold temperatures, then the only time that I like to be outside when it’s cold is when I’m doing something active; Activities that I like doing are snowshoeing or snowboarding, i’m not terribly cold when I’m outside doing them, when I go inside I like my condo really warm.
- It’s really not the best thing to do if I’m trying to save money, then but I don’t want to be cold throughout the day or when I go to bed at night.
I have a heater, and floor heating. It’s the best thing to have during the winter. I am in the process now of talking to my Heating, Ventilation plus A/C provider to see about installing radiant ceiling heat. It might be a little too much heat in my condo however like I said I prefer being nice and warm during the winter. It might be more money added onto my bill each month however I want the best of the best in my home. According to my Heating, Ventilation plus A/C provider radiant ceiling heat is a boiler that has electrically heated cables that are in the plaster or drywall of a room’s ceiling. The ceiling becomes warm and the heat radiates to the rest of the room. I suppose this is a pretty cool concept and I’m interested in having it in my house. It might be a little more costly than some of the other additions I have added to my condo however overall it’ll be a great investment. I only plan on installing it in the rooms that get the coldest.
