Putting on an addition

When my spouse and I first got married and moved to Arlington Heights, Illinois, my buddy and I had a limited budget.

My associate and I toured multiple houses before my buddy and I finally found a household in a location that suited us! Safety, privacy and a superb sized grass were pressing to us.

My associate and I didn’t mind an especially small household that required upgrades. Our tiny household was particularly improved. The cost of a new roof, new windows and drywall were minimal. The expense of heating, cooling, electric and plumbing were affordable. I could clean the entire household in a couple of hours. Over the years, we’ve added three adolescents, a dog and a dog to our household. Our tiny household was hastily cramped. When my buddy and I put on the addition, my buddy and I debated on how to handle temperature control. My associate and I were unwilling to sacrifice space for air duct. My associate and I doubted the new boiler and cooling system could handle the additional square footage. After some research into multiple options, my buddy and I chose ductless Heating, Ventilation & A/C. The system consists of an outdoor compressor that fastens to six independent air handlers. Each air handler features a thermostat, accommodating zone control. We’re able to set a weird temperature in each one of the adolescents’ bedrooms, the washroom and playroom, then despite the compact size of the system, it’s quite powerful and has no trouble handling the drastic freezing and high heat of our local weather. I like that it runs quietly, takes up no living space and minimizes both expense and carbon footprint. The ductless system requires little more than filter swings and has been attractively reliable.
