Musty stink

When toiling properly, your air conditioner should give cool and comfortable air throughout your home, and but as with any technology, air conditioners falter from time to time, then one of the most regular – and unpleasant – complications that conditioners encounter is a moldy stink emitting from the system! As unpleasant as this issue can be, the greater complication is that there could be mold growing in the system, this is entirely not something that should be allowed to continue, for apparent health reasons… What causes an air conditioner to emit the musty, moldy stink? One of the main causes is that the air ducts or air vents are holding moisture, but in short order, you should hire a reputable Heating as well as A/C corporation to inspect and scrub your air ducts.

Another cause of the musty stink is the fact that the drain is congested.

When the air conditioner is toiling properly, condensation can build up within the system and drain via the drain pan, but naturally, if the drain pan is congested, excess water builds up within the air conditioner system. This is never a good thing, since excess water in the air conditioner leads to a breeding ground for mold. Thankfully, the remedy for this problem is fairly simple, you can unclog the drain yourself or call your Heating as well as A/C corporation to do the task, and finally, it may just be that your air conditioner is too sizable for your house. This can cause the air to be cycled throughout your loft too hastily, resulting in air that isn’t properly dehumidified. This also leads to excess moisture. By calling a certified heating and cooling specialist, they will be able to determine what opportunities are available to remedy the situation.
