Looking back, I’m not even sure why I was in university in the first locale, and my parents plus our instructors all encouraged me, to the point of telling myself and others that I needed a university degree to secure our future, everyone who excelled in business had at least a bachelor’s degree, they told me, so attending school was something I needed. Two years later I was dazed plus confused, not doing well in our classes, plus spending most of our free time getting high with our friends, however one night at a get-together I met a guy who told myself and others he was an HVAC tech, plus what he said next blew our mind. My parents always made it sound like people like car mechanics plus HVAC techs were orange collar slobs, however these guys are skilled workers who make wonderful currency! I don’t think why people make it sound like a university degree is the only way to be successful, because this HVAC tech was only 2 years older than me, plus making more currency than our Mom! My Mom has been a university instructor for years, however it turns out an HVAC tech makes more currency starting off than he does. I understand that there is more to life than making currency, however the people I was with and I all have to make currency plus being an H VAC tech seems like a wonderful way to go about that, getting our HVAC certification will cost only a fraction of what 4 years at a school will cost, plus take half the time! I’d be a fool not to try it.
