It felt great that I could justify my unplanned purchase
In my quest to scrub a washable filter, I had somehow managed to injure it. I was no expert when it came to heating and A/C products, but from its look, I could tell that it would not serve its purpose anymore. I suddenly went online, searching for an air filter to be delivered within the day, but during my search, I came across air quality systems. The intelligent thermostat I saw reminded me that I was always postponing replacing my dial regulator, which did not supply accurate temperature readings. The one I saw could work so well with the heat pump, and maybe I could even work towards getting a zoned system. I ended up adding duct tape and an media air cleaner to justify the purchase. I told myself that it would improve the indoor air pollen levels. The duct tape would come in handy for duct sealing. I did not need to call a professional to do something that I could honestly handle. The beach house was not cooling sufficiently, and that was something I had to call the local supplier to repair because I would have no plan where to start. The cooling serviceman who came told me that one of the air ducts was obstructed, and that was why the temperature in the family room did not go down despite cranking up the ac. She told me she was impressed with my ductwork because she always proposed duct cleaning more often than not, but my system was in great condition. Other than the mishap with the filter, the media air cleaner was okay. It felt great that I could justify my unplanned purchase. I always thought that if I had a personal accountant, they would have quit long ago due to my spending habits.
